Performance Ahead Consulting was founded in 2015. We are a boutique consulting firm that works with select clients, primarily in the video Game space.
Here is a quick bio on me:
For over 30 years Kelly has worked across the game industry. Kelly has held executive positions with many companies including Hasbro, Panasonic, Acclaim, and Activision. Kelly was also an executive for a Free-to-Play Publishing startup in Montreal, he has lead start ups to large scale development studios, and everything in between. Over his career, he has been involved in over 300 shipped titles, generated billions of dollars in revenue, and has managed, mentored and has been mentored by some of the best talent in the industry.

Jan 2024 Update:
Over 9 years ago, I made a major life change. I left the corporate development/publishing world and started my own consulting business, not really knowing what that would mean to me or the family.
It turned out to be the best decision of my life.

This has been true forever but it took me years to figure it out.
Starting and operating a boutique consulting business was a crazy decision, but I have been fortunate to have had many great clients, some for a short time and others for several years, allowing me to meet some amazing people and work on a wide range of great projects.
Heading into 2024, I have available bandwidth to take on new projects.
I specialize in three main areas:
1. Video Game Publishing and Development strategy, infrastructure and growth.
2. CEO and Executive team coaching.
3. Investment presentation preparation. (Note: I do not specialize in fundraising)
The bulk of my efforts are focused on Publishing and Development, this is where I have the most impact and value for my clients, with Executive coaching often becoming a natural extension of this work.
One little known benefit is my relationship with DDM as a Consulting Executive, which allows me to tap into their incredible global game industry network with access to development studios, production services companies, game investors and more.
